  Last summer, after parking our trailer across the street at Heidi's RV, we visited the campgrounds to rest a bit before heading back on the road home. My mother-in-law went in to ask a few questions. She speaks English, but her grammar is obviously flawed. Not knowing that my husband and I also went in right behind my mother-in-law, the lady at the front desk started talking to her in a way like she was talking to a little kid who's just learning how to speak English. My husband got offended by what he heard. Even worse, when my mother-in-law walked out to find another worker, the front desk lady gestured to another worker there to come over and told him "watch over that lady, she's kinda slow", referring to my mother-in-law like a mentally retarded person. My husband was furious over what he heard, I had to physically stop him from escalating the situation. Needless to say, my entire family left upset. Now, we are paying customers/members of Heidi's RV. And if this is how you treat customers who are not the same racial orientation as yourself, then you don't deserve our business. I'm sure she doesn't like other people of colour because I also saw for myself how she treated an Indian family the same way she treated my mother-in-law. What a shame.

  First time camping it was great to be away from the city and share some time with family.

  We only dropped off the kids off to see my parents, the grounds looked clean and the lady at the office was VERY fun and joyful, parents said that it was great and had an indoor pool

  The transient sites are level with some privacy. There is a indoor pool and hot tub as well

  terrible camping area, it was packed and no one enforced the quiet after 11pm rule, which is a big deal if your tent is two feet away from people on both sides. The bathrooms at the tent area were grungy, I did see them get cleaned twice in one weekend but there was just too many people using them so that they ran out of toilet paper before the cleaner came around again. The indoor pool was very dirty and questionable if it was maintained, same of the hot tub. All of that and it was expensive! $18/night/ adult is much more money then I am used to paying for nice camping (which this definitely was not)
